The kids

I started telling my classes that this is my last week at SLP.  It wasn’t until last week that I was 100% sure of my end date anyway, and I didn’t want to build up my departure too much.

Reactions were mixed.  One class thoroughly protested, with a student saying (while giggling) “Teacher, you die to me!”  I love it when they use funny sayings.  One class seems intent on keeping in contact, asking for my phone number, and in fact I just got a text from one student (how I don’t know, cuz I didn’t give out my number!).  Another class cheered, and I feigned sadness.

Should be an interesting week.
